Most students share flats with other students. Despite a variation in prices depending on location, size and living standards, a room price in a shared flat starts from: Warsaw – 165 €; Wroclaw – 140 €; Cracow – 140 €; per month.

A studio flat could start from: Warsaw – 400 €; Wroclaw – 380 €; Cracow – 380 €; per month if you try to rent in the city center.

 

  1. Utilities (electricity, gas, water, common fees)

The range in a shared flat is 200-350 € per month.

 

  1. Meals

The estimated cost of food (local shopping with one meal at a cafeteria or restaurant) is 95 € per month.

 

  1. City transportation

Monthly transportation pass:

Warsaw – 13 €;           Cracow – 11 €;            Wroclaw – 12 €;

Single Ticket:

Warsaw – 1 € (0,5 € with student discount)

Cracow – 0.9 € (0,45 € with student discount)

Wroclaw – 1 € (0,5 € with student discount)

  1. Personal expenses

Personal care products, detergents etc. 19 – 24 € per month

 

  1. Health Insurance

Health insurance will be obtained upon arrival in Poland. It costs around 95 € per year.
